This clay variety pack is perfect for potters experimenting with different clay bodies. It includes 5lbs of each of our three most popular cone 5 Laguna clay bodies, totaling 15lbs of clay.

• Speckled Buff: Everyone’s favorite speckled clay body. Low in sand and grog content, speckled buff is smooth in texture with a desert sand color when fired in oxidation. An excellent throwing body!
• Moroccan Sand: The perfect neutral light beige clay when fired in oxidation. When fired to cone 5 / 6 the body is quite vitreous, ideal for throwing functional pottery. It does have a slightly coarse texture making it a decent handbuilding clay also.
• Electric Brown: Looks like chocolate when throwing with 🙂 and fires to a rich, deep brown color in an electric kiln. The clay body contains 60mesh sand allowing for stability when both wheel throwing and handbuilding.
